Photograph progress consistently
Use the same background and viewpoint for each progress photograph. Include the instruction step in the filename or caption. A consistent sequence helps explain what changed and where a later adjustment began.
Keep the finished note with its date and source material. Return to it when you repeat the exercise, and add what changed rather than replacing the earlier observation.
